One day, I knew I couldn't do it any longer. I could feel myself being slowly sapped of my good nature and knew that I could not go on in a care giving role without becoming more and more cynical and distant from what the work really required. There had to be another way.
So I followed my dream to work from home – and now, eight years later with a string of successful businesses and some glorious failures I learned the most from – behind me, I feel that same nagging feeling again. As though it is time to move on. As though I'm ready for the next step. It's time.
